Skills for Care webinar: Making the most of funding for training in 2025–26


Skills for Care is hosting a free webinar between 10:00am – 11:30am on Wednesday 14th May 2025, to help adult social care providers understand what funding is available for workforce training and how to access it. Medicines Optimisation for Care Homes (MOCH) training

These monthly training sessions focus on the Self-Care and Homely Remedies Toolkit, supporting care home staff in managing and administering medication. The sessions cover:

  • Self-Care medications
  • Homely Remedy medications
  • Personal Care medications/items

Participants will receive adaptable resources that can be tailored to their care home’s needs and have the opportunity to ask questions about the toolkit.

Everyday English & Cultural Awareness for Overseas Carers – Level 1

This interactive 6-week course has been thoughtfully designed to address critical language and cultural challenges faced by overseas carers in social care settings. Navigating Grief With Empathy: Sussex ICS-Wide Webinar for Staff
