How is the Mile Pathway organised?

The Mile Pathway presents curated information on a range of learning and development opportunities in leadership and management.

The Manager Development Pathway identifies a key set of skills and learning opportunities at point of entry affording ‘a critical opportunity to set cultural and behavioural expectations’ for new and aspiring registered managers.

The Leadership Development Pathway offers a curated resource of leadership CPD opportunities, supporting managers to set the cultural climates of their organisations and leading their teams to offer the best health and care outcomes.

The opportunities in the Enhanced Leadership Pathway will enable managers to develop further in specialist leadership skills in areas of interest joining a skilled community of practice offering inspired leadership across the system.

This is not intended to be a linear development process and managers will choose CPD opportunities from across the three pathways depending on the area they wish to develop.

In addition we publish a weekly newsletter that is circulated across Sussex. This contains a selection of the best learning and development opportunities available to our social care teams. If you would like to be added to the mailing list for this please contact us at [email protected].
