Course description: ‘This training will teach you how to identify the signs of undernutrition and dehydration in older adults, helping you gain an understanding of what measures you can take to minimise the risk of these, including demonstrating practical ideas on how to fortify foods. You will explore undernutrition, its causes and effects, have some useful tips and ideas to fortify foods, and learn how to use the handy nutrition wheel as a conversation starter.’
