Produced by Sussex Commissioners in association with Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, this toolkit guides care homes (for both learning disability and over-65 residents) in supporting service users to self-care for selected conditions using over-the-counter (OTC) treatments where possible.
Although an update was planned, a letter in March 2025 confirmed that the clinical content remains current and in line with national guidance. The toolkit is now due to be updated by the end of September 2025.
