Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Champions

The Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) champions network has been developed to provide peer learning, enhancing the application of IPC training. It has been developed to support an individual/individuals from a care settings in establishing and maintaining IPC standards in their workplace. The staff member is expected to act as a named contact for their organisation and support the organisation in recognition of infectious diseases and mitigation’s to reduce transmission, as well as supporting the uptake of vaccinations and IPC management.
