Tresacare and SESCA are collaborating to offer a free wellbeing programme designed to support international care workers in the South East. The programme will run for 3 months from mid-January 2025 and will be held online via Zoom.
What does the programme include?
6 professional workshops (90 minutes each)
Weekly Wellbeing Gyms with Pastoral Care Circles
Regular wellness activities and support sessions
Who is this programme open to?
CQC-registered adult social care providers in the South-East who are SESCA members
International care workers who are registered with SESCA
Displaced care workers who are in contact with SESCA
Date: Monday 24th June 2024 (welcome meeting) – Monday 13th January 2025 Course length: Six-month-long programme – Includes approx. 8-10 hours of self-study each week Delivery mode: Online Cost: £150 per participant which must be funded by the participants department/organisation. Suitable for: First time managers in health or social care who lead a team and are keen to develop their leadership behaviours and skills and connect with colleagues across the Sussex wide system. Qualification: NHS Leadership Academy Award in Health and Care Leadership.
Course description: ‘The programme will prepare you for the demands of leadership in the healthcare system today – and into the future. It will give you the theoretical knowledge and practical understanding needed to deliver inspiring leadership.
