All things Court of Protection for social care providers

This practical webinar, led by Hempsons legal specialist Helen Claridge, supports social care providers to strengthen their understanding of the Court of Protection and manage complex legal and safeguarding situations with confidence.

Supporting People with Learning Disabilities and Staff Teams During Loss and Bereavement

This interactive online workshop will teach attendees how to support a person with a learning disability who has/is experiencing loss and bereavement, and how to support staff teams when a person they support has died.

It will cover:

  • The hows and whys of breaking bad news
  • Real-world experiences of loss
  • Emotions and different types of loss
  • Coping mechanisms and support ideas
  • Stages of grief and grieving in different ways

Five ways to workplace wellbeing

BILD BTEC Diploma in Practice Leadership for Supporting Good Health and Wellbeing

This Level 5 Diploma focuses on improving health and wellbeing outcomes by addressing health inequalities, strengthening person-centred practice and developing confident practice leadership. The qualification supports learners to lead inclusive, proactive and responsive approaches to health and wellbeing across services, with a strong emphasis on real-world application.

Starts: 13th April 2026
Duration: 18 months
Delivery mode: Online, flexible and practice-based
Suitable for: People working in social care who already have, or would like to have, a leadership role in improving health and wellbeing across services.
Fees (introductory offer):

  • Individual learners:
    • BILD member: £1,940+VAT
    • Non-member: £2,200+VAT
  • Cohorts (6 learners from the same organisation):
    • BILD member: £11,640+VAT
    • Non-member: £13,200+VAT

Entry requirements:

  • Level 2 English
  • Must work directly with people using services
  • Must be in a position to lead practice at Diploma level
