‘NHS England South East Region have been working in partnership with Reflect Learning to offer a FREE, online career planning workshops for individuals considering the next step in their career whether it is applying for a short course, an apprenticeship, preparing for promotion or just to develop levels of confidence.’

Learning outcomes:

  • Understand how to create a personal statement for a job or course application.
  • Be able to present the best version of you in your application.
  • Explore interview types, what to expect and how to manage them and secure a successful outcome.
  • Understand how to use the STAR model to provide evidence based answers to interview questions.

Supporting people to be more active: Free training for care professionals!

Active Sussex are offering free CPD-endorsed training to help health and social care professionals build confidence and competence in discussing physical activity. The interactive workshops, lasting 1 to 1.5 hours, are available both in-person and online, and can accommodate multiple participants.

Who is this training for?
This Sussex-wide offer is open to anyone in a role that may involve talking to individuals and/or groups who would benefit from moving more such as people with long term health conditions, older people, and people with a disability.

Sussex Medicines Optimisation in Care Homes (MOCH) training

These free monthly sessions are delivered virtually by the Sussex Community NHS Foundation trust Medicines Optimisation in Care Homes (MOCH) team and focus on self-care medications, homely remedy medications and personal care medications/items. The sessions provide an opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the Self-Care and Homely Remedies Toolkit and resources will be shared with all participants that attend.

Session dates: Tuesdays – 1st October, 5th November, 3rd December 2024, 7th January, 4th February & Tuesday 4th March 2025
