Person Centred Care and Support Planning: Promoting Dignity in Care

This course explores how to place dignity, choice, control and empowerment at the heart of care and support planning. You’ll reflect on your role in ensuring people are truly heard and supported, and learn how to create care plans that are person-centred, holistic and dynamic. The session also considers how to avoid institutional practices and how communication, environments and procedures can either empower or undermine the people we support.

The course is funded for adult social care staff working for Brighton and Hove City Council, and staff working in adult social care provider services that contract with Brighton and Hove City Council.
